Endorsement
You will need the backing of a teacher, tutor, coach or youth leader who knows you well and is willing to support your application. It is your responsibility to contact your teacher/coach and arrange for a letter of support. Please include this with your application as it cannot be considered without an endorsement.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Selection of successful applicants will be undertaken by each organisation (ie. FUS, Air Cadets Dorset & Wilts Wing, FMS, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Dorset, Bournemouth Christchurch & Poole, Dorset Guides, Dorset Scouts, St Michael’s Middle School, West Moors Middle School or for Discretionary Funding by the Trustees of the JTYAF. As all decisions are final, neither the organisations nor the Trustees of the JTYAF will respond to requests for information from applicants who are not granted a bursary.
The JTYAF requires evidence of all expenditure. Receipts/invoices are essential and must be submitted to the JTYAF within 12 weeks of the award. The award must only be used for purchases as detailed on this application. Any unspent award monies must be returned to the JTYAF.
