Around the World for JTYAF

  • PO Box 7124 Ferndown United Kingdom (map)

The extended Junior Leaders family are collectively walking, running, cycling or swimming around the world (40,075 km) to raise funds for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.

The challenge starts on 1 Feb 21, but sign up now (it's free!).

Who?

Anyone! QJLs, Directing Staff, Friends, Family, Colleagues or anyone who wants to help raise money for the JTYAF.

What?

Collectively we are aiming to virtually travel around the earth (40,075km). This can be doing any activity you choose... running, cycling, swimming, walking, skipping. There are leader boards for both the team and individuals to see who has traveled the furthest and raised the most money for the JTYAF.

When?

Starting on 1 Feb 21, your activities will start counting towards the challenge. You will then have until 28 Feb 21 to travel as far as you can and collectively reach our target of around the world!

Why?

This is all in the name of raising funds for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation. This year, more than ever, they need your support to continue their amazing work. (Upon creating your own Raisely account, you will get your own donation page on Raisely - there is no need to make one on another website)

Find out more about the charity and the association with Junior Leaders here.

How?

Once you sign up you can either link your Strava account or manually log your workouts on your profile. You will automatically join a team based on your JL course number (or that of your friend / family). Then share your progress using the social media buttons to get donations from your friends, family and colleagues.

We can’t thank the JL family enough for this support. It’s very difficult times for charities at the moment especially as regards fundraising. Around the World for JTYAF will make a huge difference to the JTYAF being able to continue to provide opportunities for young people.
