40 for JT Going Strong
/Our 40 for JT Challenge has kicked off with remarkable enthusiasm. Swim Bournemouth set the tone with their 40 Prize Raffle at the Swim Meet held at the Littledown Centre, raising an incredible £2700 thanks to the hard work of Emma, Darren, Sophie, and Emily, who organised an impressive array of raffle prizes and expertly sold tickets.
Meanwhile, Elke and her friends are showcasing their creativity by knitting beautiful flower brooches, while Co-op Funeralcare in Westbourne is delighting everyone with their scrumptious cupcakes. Participants Vikki, Laura, and Rachel, along with the Thorntons, have achieved an impressive milestone by completing 40,000 steps each. Tim and Adam took on the challenge of playing 40 holes of golf, dedicating 8 hours to this ambitious feat—an outstanding accomplishment. Geoff is testing his skills by engaging in 40 games of chess, currently enjoying a winning streak.
This is just the beginning, and there are plenty more activities lined up as we continue to pay tribute to John on his 40th birthday and raise funds for a great cause.
