Best of British Party Raises £1000!

The Best of British Party organised by JTYAF Trustee, Joe Barnett, together with his wife Mel and Lucy and Gary Wooding is now an annual event and a great favourite at Parkstone Yacht Club.  This year the evening raised an incredible £1000 and we can't thank Joe and his team enough for their continued support.  A big thank you must also go to the guests for their generosity and to Parkstone Yacht Club for the use of their fabulous venue.

Joe, Mel, Lucy and Gary, pictured above, left their Bucks Fizz days behind them and this year took a turn as Morris Dancers.  In true British tradition their bells jingled and their sticks were slapping during a highly choreographed routine which was definitely the best party piece of the evening.

Pat and Frank Butcher from Eastenders were rubbing shoulders with royalty together with many other British legends too numerous to mention.  A great night was had by all and they raised a huge amount of funds for a great cause in the process.  If you'd like to join in the fun next year keep an eye on our events page for details.
