Cadets take on Ten Tors

The JTYAF is supporting two teams of Cadets from the Air Training Corps to undertake the 2013 Ten Tors Expedition on Dartmoor. Each team will have six Cadets. 

One team will undertake the 35 mile expedition while the other will be entered for the 45 mile challenge.  They have to be self sufficient for their time on the moor and each member will carry their tent and provisions.  That is where the JTYAF has stepped in and will be funding the purchase of tents and cooking stoves together with fuel. This will provide a great resource for use in the future, not only for the Ten Tors but for Adventure Training and Duke of Edinburgh Award Expeditions. 

The JTYAF is delighted to support this opportunity for the Cadets to develop their teamwork, navigation and leadership skills in a unique and challenging environment .  We wish you them all the very best.
