The JTYAF was honoured to have been chosen by Wimborne Rotary Club as one of the charities to benefit from a Gala Charity Night with guest speaker, Sportsman and TV Presenter, Bob Wilson.

The event, at the  Marriott Highcliffe Hotel was a resounding success.  The venue was perfect, the food absolutely delicious and Bob was a fabulous speaker.  All the guests commented on how much they had enjoyed the evening and Bob gave a fascinating insight into his life and football career.  He was extremely entertaining.

Huge thanks must go to Wimborne Rotary Club for organising this brilliant event which raised funds for The Willow Foundation, The Dorset Cancer Care Foundation and The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.  The Willow Foundation was set up by Bob Wilson and his wife Megs in memory of their daughter Anna and provides special days and memories for seriously ill young adults.

We would also like to thank all the guests who supported the event, the Marriott Highcliffe for such a wonderful meal and all those who donated auction prizes particularly the Porsche Centre Bournemouth who donated a driving experience at Silverstone and Ferndown Golf Club who, thanks to Tony Brown, donated a Four Ball to include Bob Wilson as one of the players.
