A wonderful Christmas single, 'Love From Home,' is this year going to raise funds for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.

In 2013 Dave Thomas and Luke Turner decided to write a Christmas song as a tribute to all the military personnel serving abroad at Christmas time.  The lyrics were written from a child's point of view, as they wish and hope that their mother or father will stay safe at Christmas time and send their love to them across the miles. Hence the title - 'Love from Home.'

Dave and Luke then needed a choir to sing their fabulous song and contacted Denise Booth at Studio One (Dorset's Centre for Performing Arts).  She immediately organised 'The Studio One Children's Choir,' they learnt the song in a week and recorded it in an evening at the Absolute Music studio's in Wallisdown.

The song was originally released to raise funds for Help for Heroes, but this year the aim was to raise awareness of a local charity.  The JTYAF is privileged to have been chosen for this great support.

You can view the Absolute Music YouTube production of 'Love from Home' and the single is available on itunes .  All profits will benefit young people in the pursuit of their ambitions.

A huge thank you to Dave, Luke and James Stevens for this fantastic support and also to Jonny Armour for nominating the JTYAF as the recipient charity.
