Coastal Tab Raises over £2000!
/The Coastal Tab organised by Keiron and his team at JK House Training was a great success and raised an incredible £2,200!
The Coastal Tabbers enjoyed wall to wall sunshine and glorious blue skies as they headed off on their 15 mile challenge. The 15 mile loop in the Purbecks provided them with the most stunning scenery but also some steep slopes, narrow paths and a couple of hundred steps near the finish just after St Adhelms Head!
The walkers and runners showed a huge amount of commitment, courage and determination. The 15 mile route was a tough physical challenge and completing it was a great achievement. Towards the end, as a poignant tribute to the fallen, they placed poppies at the Royal Marines Memorial Garden at Emmetts Hill. The poppies were made by the children at Lollipops Pre School and it was lovely to have these little people involved.
The JTYAF were honoured to have such fantastic support from so many lovely people. We are extremely grateful to Kieron and the JK House Team, all the walkers and their friends and family who sponsored them so generously. Thanks must also go to Miss Diamond South West for supporting the event and to the British Vape Company Parkstone and Poole together with G&M Clifford & Co Ltd for their generous sponsorship. An incredible £2,200 was raised which will benefit many young people both through the JTYAF and My Time Young Carers.
