A local young lady is due to travel to Kenya as part of Camps International for a four-week trip to teach Physical Education to disadvantaged young children.
She’ll be taking sports equipment for the children such as netball hoops, netball balls, cones, hoops, footballs and goal posts in order to develop their skills and curriculum.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
The JTYAF provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life as John was able to do.
