A Junior Leader on course JL21 is fundraising for the JTYAF by organising a 214 mile cycle ride.
Cadets will collectively cycle on a stationary bike the distance between 293 (Cowbridge) Squadron and 561 (Ardwyn, Aberystwyth and District) Squadron, the eastern and western extremes of No 3 Welsh Wing, via EVERY squadron in the wing, a distance of 214 miles.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
The JTYAF provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life as John was able to do.
