Drumming Award for Dean

Christchurch Fire Cadet Dean Wilcox had an award for drumming lessons towards achieving his Silver Duke of Edinburgh.

"My greatest achievement is that with the help of the JTYAF I was able to complete the skill section of the Duke of Edinburgh and then go on to complete the Silver award in August."

Dean developed his drumming skills and completed his Grade 5 drumming exam with Merit. He has applied to a Music course at university and hopes to pursue a career in music.
