Duke of Edinburgh's Award Reintroduced at Ferndown Upper School

The JTYAF is absolutely delighted to be in a position to support the reintroduction of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme at Ferndown Upper School.  

The charity has helped with the purchase of essential equipment and is excited to hear that 21 students are already signed up to do their Bronze Award.

The benefits of achieving a DofE Award at any level are endless.  The DofE is life-changing.  Taking part builds confidence and develops self-esteem. It requires persistence and commitment and has a lasting impact on the attitudes and outlook of all young people who take part.
