Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award Expedition

Since January the JTYAF has already supported 13 young people with funding for registration fees, equipment and expedition costs, giving them the opportunity to complete their Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards. We are delighted to be able to provide them with the chance to take part in this world leading youth achievement award.

A young lady who has recently received our support will be completing the residential element of her Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award with expeditions in Snowdonia and the Lake District. A conscientious and hardworking student she has demonstrated her commitment to meeting the challenges these expeditions will present, however, without the financial support from the JTYAF she would be unable to take part.

We wish her every success as she completes her Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award.
