Expedition to Ecuador

A young member of The Dorset Expeditionary Society is embarking on an adventure along with four other members in Ecuador this July.
The team are due to fly to Quito, the second highest capital city in the world, where they will acclimatise.
Their activities during their time in Ecuador are:
- Mountain biking a series of high mountain trails
- Climbing several High Andean peaks
- Canoeing the upper reaches of the Amazon
- Crossing the Valley of the Volcanoes
He passed a gruelling selection process on Dartmoor to show courage and determination. Last year he completed the Ten Tors Challenge.
His future career aim is to become an Officer in the British Army.
