Huge thanks to Mandy who has organised a team of staff, friends and family from Ferndown Upper School (FUS) to take part in the Dorset Plane Pull this year in aid of John’s Foundation.

The team of 20 are aiming to pull a Boeing 737, weighing in at 35,000 Kg a distance of 50 metres in the fastest time possible. The FUS Team have many connections to John and his Foundation and we are looking forward to cheering them on this Bank Holiday Monday, 28th August.

European Skybus Ltd are the generous hosts of The Dorset Plane Pull. They can be found on the Aviation Business Park at Bournemouth Airport, so just follow the signs. Parking marshals will be on hand to find you a space.

The Plane Pull is a great day out for all the family with a DJ and live bands, as well as a children’s entertainer – all for free. For a small fee little ones can get their face painted or hop onto the bouncy castle.

Signature Catering will be there providing delicious food and drink all day.

There’s spectator area too where you can sit, watch and cheer the teams pulling the plane. Every beneficiary charity including the JTYAF has their own tent on-site, so please come and say hello.
