FWB Park Brown's Remarkable Lives Series - Jaco van Gass

We would like to thank FWB Park Brown, Matthew Quinn and the legendery Jaco van Gass for their generous support of John’s Foundation.

FWB Park Brown hosted a fascinating range of speakers for their ‘Remarkable Lives Leadership Series.’ This series which was inspired by JTYAF Ambassador, Matthew Quinn, Managing Director of the Future Sales Factory, focused on overcoming adversity through excellent, creative leadership.

Each speaker has faced adversity in their chosen field and triumphed; the key underlying message being one of resilience and reinvention. There are many parallels to the business world and through this series FWB Park Brown aimed to provide an opportunity to learn from the truly remarkable lives of others.

The speaker for the final session in the series was the Double Paralympic Champion Jaco van Gass, whose journey from catastrophic injury whilst serving with the British Armed Forces, to Paralympic Gold Medallist, via the North Pole and Mount Everest, is truly inspirational.

The speakers kindly agreed to speak for free and it was suggested that guests made a donation to the charity partner, which for Jaco’s event was the JTYAF. In addition FWB Park Brown kindly made a generous donation.
