Go Ape Moors Valley Chooses the JTYAF
/We are absolutely thrilled to have been selected as 'Charity of the Year' by Go Ape at Moors Valley and we're looking forward to an exciting year in partnership.
Two JTYAF award winners work at Go Ape and they nominated the charity for support. We are so grateful to them for this fantastic opportunity to promote the Foundation at such a fabulous venue. Their ethos of 'Live life more adventurously – that’s our challenge to you' partners so well with the JTYAF 'Climb as high as you can dream' so we're going to make a great team.
Go Ape kicked off their support by inviting us to a free Go Ape Forest Segway session which they suggested could be used as a thank you for some of our supporters and volunteers.
We invited Brad Hall and Nick who deserved a treat after spending so much time making the JTYAF promotional video. They were joined by volunteers from our recent weekend at Sainsbury's. A Royal Marine Cadet, a Sea Cadet, together with three students from Ferndown Upper School (FUS) and JTYAF Trustee and FUS Headteacher Phil Jones.
We took to the trails at Moors Valley on a beautifully sunlit Monday evening and had an absolutely fabulous time. Many of us would not have had the experience without this kind offer from Go Ape. It is definitely to be recommended.
Huge thanks to all the staff at Go Ape, especially Denzil and Becky who gave us such a great Segway session. We look forward to working together in the year ahead.
