Izzy's DofE Challenge

Izzy is set to complete her silver Duke of Edinburgh award with the help of the JTYAF.

The expeditions through the New Forest were physically and mentally challenging but have helped Izzy and other young people to develop vital life skills.

Izzy commented;

[quote] I loved community aspect of it, making new friends and spending the evenings planning routes and then whilst on the expeditions completing our aim and see it all come together at the end within our presentation. [/quote]

In the future Izzy hopes to study for a Geology degree at university to pursue her passion for geography and the outdoors.
