The JTYAF is pleased to help a 14-year-old Girl Guide to attend the 24th International Scout Jamboree in July 2019 in North America.

It is to be hosted jointly between Boy Scouts of America, Scouts Canada and the Scout Association of Mexico. It will be full of adventure, friendship, leadership, service and sustainability.

Activities include learning about different cultures as well as rock climbing, mountain biking, white water rafting, zip wire and more!

The UK Contingent will be made up of participants, their Unit Leaders, International Service Team and a Contingent Management and Support Team (UK Contingent Team).

She’s been a member of her Guide Unit for 4 years and has recently completed her Baden Powell Challenge which is the top Guiding award for her age group. With her enthusiasm, energy and commitment she will be an excellent ambassador for British Girl Guiding.

To raise additional funds she has been bag packing at the local supermarket, organising school cake sales and car washing.
