John Lewis £1000 Donation!

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation was absolutely thrilled to hear that they were included in the John Lewis & Partners Poole (Branksome) first quarterly community matters award,

Linda and Pete Thornton were invited to the John Lewis store and presented with a cheque for an amazing £1000.

We would like to thank John Lewis and all the colleagues involved in this decision as it will make a big difference to a lot of local young people. We are using the funds to help with our Jubilee Awards which are aimed at supporting the mental health and well-being of school children in our community. Six schools will receive £34,000 which will be used for a whole range of exciting projects.

The support of local businesses is so important to us and helps the JTYAF to continue to do great work with young people, helping them to achieve their dreams and ambitions.
