JTYAF Award for Dorset & Wilts Fire and Rescue Service Cadet

The aim of Fire Cadets is to support the development of young people, enabling them to experience something new by participating in a wide range of practical and theoretical activities in a unique firefighting-based environment.

The most recent programme was delivered at Blandford Fire Station to students in Years 9-11, one evening per week for 20 weeks between January and July.

The JTYAF supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.
