Our VIP Hospitality Day at the Bournemouth Air Festival was a roaring success raising £6700 for John’s Foundation.

The Hospitality marquee, on the beach directly under the central flight line, was the perfect setting to watch the action. Definitely the best seats in town. A stunning venue, wall to wall sunshine, fabulous food, incredibly attentive staff, and a fantastic flying programme. There is no more that we could have asked for and huge thanks must go to Tracey and Slick Events for such a fabulous day.

Proceedings got underway with the extremely talented Land Girls. The hospitality package included, welcome drinks, 2 course lunch and afternoon cream tea and the JTYAF is privileged to have the opportunity to run a raffle and a ‘silent auction.’

We were delighted to see our great friends the Tigers Army Parachute Display Team, who popped into the marquee to say hello.

Thanks must also go to our volunteers. Without them this event would not be possible. We were lucky to have Community Volunteers from Barclays, and HSBC bringing £4£ matched funding, which makes a huge difference to the total achieved.
