A local Girl Guide is working towards her ASA Level 1 Swimming Assistant qualification at Rossmore Leisure Centre.
After her GCSEs she hopes to teach swimming at the same time as continuing her studies.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
