Kevin Lindsay's France En Velo - St Malo to Nice

Kevin Lindsay (pictured above) said that he "fancied a bit of a bike ride this summer as a bit of a personal challenge."   He aimed to cycle 1000 miles unsupported from St Malo to Nice and even though he wasn't able to complete the entire route due to an injury he still managed to cover several hundred miles and raise well over £800 for the JTYAF.

Kevin made a plaque to commemorate the sacrifice made by the 453 British servicemen and women who lost their lives in the conflict in Afghanistan and he put it up in a place called Ménigoute which was exactly 453 kms from the start at StMalo.
