Lorraine Finney’s Photography Exhibition Raises over £500 for the JTYAF

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was honoured to be chosen as the recipient charity for the recent Lorraine Finney Fine Art Photography Exhibition and absolutely delighted to be presented with a cheque for £532.63.

Lorraine is an award-winning photographer and recently held her first solo exhibition at the Hayloft Gallery in Christchurch.  It was a huge success and she received fantastic support from CAD ARTS Members, Boscombe Camera Club, Bournemouth U3A Photography Group, Landscape Collective, friends, family, and Charlie Waite, one of the world’s leading landscape photographers.

Lorraine commented, ‘I am honoured to support the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation with a contribution from my sales and pleased that it will help young people achieve their ambitions and dreams as I have achieved mine.’

Young people are experiencing many challenges in these uncertain and difficult times.  Lorraine’s generous donation which will make a huge difference to the opportunities that the JTYAF can provide for local young people in the year ahead.
