Lunch Time Fun At Hampreston First School

Children at Hampreston First School are enjoying their new lunch time play equipment which was bought with a little help from the JTYAF.

They now have new skipping ropes, hula hoops, bats and balls, a giant snakes and ladders and jamanga set just to name a few. The children will certainly have lots of opportunities for fun and games with their friends.

The lunchtime break is many children’s favourite time of the school day – during this precious hour children eat, let off steam, learn to play co-operatively, and develop social skills which will enable them to become rounded individuals. The right equipment provides active stimulation for children of all abilities to stay active and helps them to achieve the recommended daily amount of exercise.
