A young man from Christchurch Learning Centre with an avid interest in bikes has been supported with JTYAF funding to start his own business.
He has been repairing bikes at both Halford’s Bike Club and the Grange School Bike Club and would like to start up his own repair business.
A JTYAF award will help him to buy a shed, giving him his own workspace and a kind donor has helped with the purchase of tools and equipment. We wish him every success for the future.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
