The JTYAF is pleased to sponsor a young boy towards his silver Duke of Edinburgh award.
He is passionate about all things sport and determined to achieve what he sets out to do, recently completing his Bronze award. For his Silver expedition, his team of six youngsters (including four wheelchair users) will be kayaking, dragon boating, orienteering, hiking, archery and rock climbing.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
The JTYAF provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life as John was able to do.
