RAF Career for Award Winner

An award winner from 2015 has achieved his dream of joining the Royal Air Force as a Weapons System Operator, hoping to work on the Chinook as a Rotary Wing Crewman.

Back in 2015 he was a member of the Dorset Expeditionary Society and supported by the JTYAF for his expedition to Nepal. Since then he’s also travelled to Kenya and various other places.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the grant again as the equipment purchased has been used time and time again, and has helped me to become the person I am today and helped me to fly through my application! Just wanted to let you know of my success and thank you for your kindness.”

We wish him all the best in his chosen career path with the RAF and can’t wait to hear about his future achievements.
