Sparkle & Ice for Bournemouth Guides

They are planning to give their young people something to look forward to in 2021 and asked for funding to cover the cost of two’ Sparkle and Ice.’ camping weekends. They were hoping to raise the funds as a group but all their fundraising activities have been cancelled due to the pandemic.

Guides, Rangers – and their leaders –  will be immersed in their very own winter wonderland. They will have the opportunity to become adventurers with a programme of fun activities, including rock climbing, abseiling and tunnelling – and they can also try out the new barrel train.

Alongside these activities, girls will learn vital survival skills to help them take on extreme weather conditions. They’ll also have a chance to:

• Get crafty with winter-themed make-and-dos

• Pit themselves against our assault course

• Keep their balance on our crate stacking challenge

We will keep our fingers crossed that by February, Sparkle & Ice will go ahead, and look forward to hearing all about it.
