Spartan Race 2014
/Team Astral Unicorn will be entering the Spartan Race London 2014 to raise funds for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.
Liam Doughty, Tom Burgess, Rob Kidd and Tommy Edwards are students from Oxford and have joined together as Team Astral Unicorn to take on this formidable 8 mile challenge for the JTYAF. Rob Kidd was a close friend of John's and is a great supporter of the JTYAF as he explains.
I also feel that it is important to support the charity setup in his name and help JTYAF continue to help young people achieve their ambitions. To be given the opportunity to fulfil your aspirations, as I was when growing up, sets the course for success in adult life.
The Spartan Race is the world’s leading obstacle racing series and integrates obstacles with the natural terrain to create the best racing experience possible. There is fire, mud, water, barbed wire, and occasionally Hell on Earth!
The guys have each set individual goals of how much they would like to raise.
With your help we can hopefully smash those targets and present the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation with a cheque that will help them to continue their amazing work in support of young people.
If you would like to support them their on-line fundraising pages :-
