Students take on the Army Ten Tors - Jubilee Challenge

The Army Ten Tors challenge is aimed solely at young people and the JTYAF is delighted to support 6 students from the Compass Learning Centre to take part. The event takes place every year on Dartmoor. The terrain is not easy and the distances require commitment and endurance, therefore training is essential. For those who attempt it the Ten Tors will undoubtedly be remembered for the rest of their lives and for many it will be a life-changing experience.

The Jubilee Challenge is designed for young people aged between 14 and 21 and provides them with a range of challenging conditions. The JTYAF has helped with the purchase of walking boots, waterproof coats/trousers and rucksacks. We wish our award winners every success.
