A huge thank you to Bournemouth & Poole College Students Union who chose the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation as their first 'Charity of the Year' for 2015/16 and raised an impressive £450 with their donations.

It was a really great partnership and a lot of fun for the charity. Meeting the students at the Freshers Fair and at the Student Union on Tour events it was exciting to hear all about their ambitions and plans for the future. The most popular of the organised events was by far the 5-a-side Football Tournament which was so good they did it twice!

The JTYAF has a great relationship with BPCSU which is sure to continue and we would like to thank Fontayne Fernay-Debrett and Lloyd Perry pictured below, for all their hard work.

£450 will make a big difference to the opportunities that the charity will be able to offer to local young people in the year ahead. Thanks again everyone!
