Staff from 130 (Bournemouth) Squadron Air Cadets will be attempting to complete the 3 peaks challenge in under 24 hours in aid of the the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.

The team consists of WO Jamie Green, Sgt Viv Sherry, CI Becky Ryan, CI Elliott Ko, CI Wyatt Ko, CI Ben Smits, CI Ian Williams and CI Susan Arnold.

Although they will not make their attempt until June, fundraising has already begun with help from local businesses, a bag packing event and activities ranging from collecting tins, to a 'Rank Swap' where cadets will be able to bid to become the staff members for a week and have a go at running the squadron.

Civilian Instructor Becky Ryan said "we are always asking the cadets to raise money for charities, so we thought its about time that the staff did there turn and what better charity to do it for than the John Thorntons Young Achievers Foundation"
