A young man can now pursue his ambitions of completing his Gold D of E Award with a little help from the JTYAF.

"After being recently awarded financial aid to help me afford the costs of my Gold D of E, I would like to take the time to thank you so very much for the funding.

With the awarded money I will now be able to afford to pay the registration fees, along with any expedition costs including travel expenses too which would have been hard for my family and me to fund by ourselves.

I have read further about the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation, and I would also like to comment that I think the charity’s aim is superb, I think that what you are doing for young people is amazing. I couldn’t be any more grateful myself being one of those young people awarded and now more able to achieve my full potential and ambitions."
