Volunteers Raise £1,130.66 at Sainsbury's Ferndown

As Sainsbury’s 'Charity of the Year' the JTYAF was given the opportunity to fundraise in store on 13th & 14th April. It was a really successful couple of days giving us the chance to promote the foundation as well as collecting valuable funds.  We raised an incredible £1,130.66 which will make a huge difference to the opportunities that we can provide for local young people in the year ahead. The customers at Sainsbury's are so very generous and we can't thank Sainsbury's or the shoppers enough for their continued support of John's Foundation.

We were delighted to have the support of 30 fabulous volunteers, including young people from Ferndown & Verwood Guides and the Bournemouth Sea & Royal Marine Cadets.  We really couldn't do it without them and the customers were very happy to have such great help packing their shopping.

We will be back in store on Thursday 31st May to Saturday 2nd of June and we hope to see many friends of the JTYAF again then.
