Win a VIP trip to Aston Martin HQ

The morning: From 0945hrs being part of a guided AMOC tour of the Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd production facility at Gaydon, Warwickshire. This includes ‘The Street’ an AML Ltd-maintained heritage area area which features the model timeline of the company and where you’ll see some of the famous models over the company’s history. Some of the models used in the James Bond films, including the one-off DB10 designed only for the film “SPECTRE”, and not available commercially, are also on display here.
Lunch: Lunch will be provided at a local hostelry before the afternoon schedule.
The afternoon: The Winner will be taken to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, the home of over 300 cars, and famous British marquees including Jaguar, Morgan, Land Rover, Rolls Royce and many others.
The visit should conclude by around 4pm.
Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
The promoter of the prize draw is the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (Registered Charity Number: 1125277) (“JTYAF”).
By entering this competition, all entrants indicate their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The closing date of the draw is Sunday 7th July 2019. The Winning ticket will be drawn on the evening of Sunday 7th July and the Winner notified by the details given.
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over. The promoter may ask for a copy of official identification documents to prove meeting the age requirements, and the Winner will be required to carry a form of official photographic identification with them on the VIP visit, e.g. passport, driving licence.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The Winner acknowledges that they are a guest of the Aston Martin Owners Club (“AMOC”) host to attend the VIP visit only in the company of the AMOC member offering this prize. They will not be permitted to attend solo under any circumstances
The VIP visit will take place only on Wednesday 10th July 2019 to Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd’s (“AML Ltd”) production facility at Gaydon, Warwicksire.
The Winner accepts that no other dates are available as it is a fixed invitation date to the AMOC from AML Ltd. The Winner must be content that they are available on this day, and no other date will be available, substituted or postponed, even if the Winner is unable to attend for any reason whatsoever, including reasons outside their control.
If the Winner is unable to attend on the specified date, then they may nominate one other person to take their place on the same visit, provided that the substituted guest meets the attendance conditions of age, availability, etc.
The Winner has two choices to travel to the Aston Martin HQ in Gaydon, Warwickshire:Make their own way to Maidenhead Office Park, SL6 3QQ (“MOP”) by 0815 on the day (at their own cost), but thereafter personally driven to the venue by the AMOC member host in an Aston Martin DB9 GT. They will be returned to MOP later that day, where they may continue their return journey home.
Make their own way to and from the visit venue, at their own cost.
If the AMOC host’s Aston Martin vehicle is unavailable through unserviceability, or other reason, then the Winner will be notified prior but accepts that they will be transported by another vehicle of any make.
Other than the exterior, reception, atrium showroom areas, and The Street, (or any area where the AML Ltd guide specifically requests that no photographs are permitted), no photography is allowed in any other area of AML Ltd’s head office buildings, due to commercial confidentiality e.g. design areas, production area, etc.
the Winner accepts that this non-negotiable term is to respect AML Ltd’s design and commercial secrets, and protect their intellectual property rights. Any visitor flouting this rule will have their participation in the visit terminated immediately, will be required to delete any images taken and will have no recourse to redress.The Winner agrees to act and behave in accordance with all directions given by the host, or the staff or agents of AML Ltd at all times. All visitors to AML Ltd’s HQ will be required to sign a confidentiality and behaviour agreement prior to be permitted to participate in the visit. The Winner agrees to signing that undertaking.
The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material published by JTYAF, or its Trustees, or representatives (including the charity’s chosen media outlets), as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party unless related specifically to the publicity of this competition and the resultant prize in particular.
The JTYAF does not sell, hire or lease any personal data to any marketing organisations whatsoever.
The promoter’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter to their official webpage (www.jtyaf.org), or media outlets.
The maximum liability of the promoter in respect of any aspect of this competition is limited to the face value amount paid for the entry ticket, one pound (£1).
