Beaucroft on Tour Again!

Here at the JTYAF we were delighted to receive a wonderful collection of thank you’s from Portland Class and Braille Class at Beaucroft Foundation School.

The students in Portland Class were recently able to go out on a visit and after so many restrictions for so long they were clearly excited. Their trip was to the Royal Signals Museum at Blandford where they had an excellent tour and their interest and enthusiasm in the topic made it a very successful visit.

The JTYAF also funded some relaxation mats which Braille Class were delighted to use and they told us how comfortable they were. One of the students sent us a message ‘Thank You. Thumbs Up!’

Beaucroft Foundation School is a school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties, many of whom have additional complex difficulties and/or disabilities, mainly autistic spectrum disorders or sensory impairments. The school provides specialist provision for the eastern region of Dorset. The JTYAF has been supporting the Beaucroft pupils since 2011.
