Building Skills and Memories - Ferndown Upper School's Summer Trip

The Year 9 students at Ferndown Upper School have an exciting opportunity to participate in a Summer Residential trip to Buddens Farm Activity Centre. This trip aims to take students out of their comfort zones with a variety of activities designed to develop skills such as problem-solving and teamwork, all while having a great deal of fun.

The activities on offer include Abseiling, Archery, Bushcraft, Climbing, Jacob's Ladder, Leap of Faith, Rifle Shooting, Tomahawk Throwing, Zip Wire, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayaking, and Windsurfing.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) is delighted to support 14 students, making it possible for them to join their friends on this adventurous trip. This support helps make the trip more affordable for families who qualify for Pupil Premium funding.
