Exam Boost for Students

In addition to the awards already given out to Ferndown Upper School students we have recently provided funding for the purchase 10 Exam Reader Pens.

These pens promote independence for students with special educational needs who are unable to read texts themselves. 

They no longer rely upon a teaching assistant to read their work for them as the device reads text out aloud or through headphones.

This support will have an immediate impact on their learning.
