Exciting Times for the Brownies

The JTYAF is delighted to be able to help the local Guides and Brownies and has already made a whole range of awards in 2014, supporting some fantastic opportunities.

The Brownies are celebrating a one hundred year birthday and Wimborne Brownies are certainly going to commemorate the The Big Brownie Birthday in style.  They will be taking a trip to Brownsea Island, the perfect place to celebrate, and the JTYAF has helped with expenses to ensure that all one hundred and fifty Brownies can join in.   They will have a great day of fun filled activities and also pay a visit to the Baden Powell monument.

The fun doesn't end there!  One hundred and twenty  Brownies and Guides from North East Forest Division are looking forward to a weekend of adventure at the PGL Activity Centre in Osmington.  The JTYAF has helped with the costs so that nobody who wants to go has had to miss out.  With great outdoor facilities including high and low ropes courses, indoor climbing and abseiling walls and a whole host of watersports the Guides and Brownies will have an exciting mix of challenge and fun.
