Emily will be Volunteering in Borneo

Emily Cooper is a Guide at St Leonards and has been given a fantastic opportunity to join a once in a lifetime trip with her school.  She is extremely busy raising funds to pay for a place on a volunteering expedition to Borneo which will take place in 2015 and is sure to be an unforgettable experience.   She will be living in a rural community and getting involved in conservation programmes, helping to improve living standards and teaching in local schools.  Emily is looking forward to this amazing opportunity for personal development, the chance to gain an understanding of other communities and make a real difference to their lives.  The JTYAF is happy to contribute towards her equipment costs.
