Fire Cadet selected to play Handball for South West England

A talented young lady from the Blandford Fire Cadets Programme has been selected to become part of the South West England Handball Team and has ambitions of playing for her country in the Olympics. The JTYAF is delighted to support her and has helped with the cost of indoor trainers.

Handball has been described in many ways, football with hands, water-polo without the water, and basketball with nets. One thing for sure it is the most exciting, high scoring, action packed team sport that can be played anywhere by anyone.
