Sun, Sea and Sand at Bournemouth Air Festival
/This year's JTYAF VIP Hospitality Day at the Bournemouth Air Festival was a great success.
Our guests enjoyed the best seats in town in the Hospitality Marquee and they were able to watch a fantastic flying programme in style. A delicious menu and wall to wall sunshine certainly made it a day to remember.
An incredible £8,000 was raised on the day and we would like to extend our thanks to all our guests and supporters for their kindness and generosity. We received a wonderful selection of aviation themed items donated by organisations and individuals and these formed the basis of our Silent Auction. We were also very grateful to a huge range of local businesses for donating prizes and visits for our raffle.
A very special thank you must go to our friends from Barclays. Di, Liz, Nina and Nikki, our wonderful Community Volunteers, organised the raffle and Silent Auction for us and brought with them £4000 of matched funding! This has obviously made a huge difference to the fundraising total and we really can't thank them enough for their support.
Thanks also to Tracey and all her team at Slick Events who made this such a special occasion and the Fifinella singers who welcomed the guests to the event with a great selection of Vintage numbers. The perfect introduction to Vintage Sunday.
The event would not have been possible without the support of many individuals and organisations:-
A very big JTYAF thank you to all :-
