Junior Table Tennis Club

An established table tennis club in Cattistock has been approached by local youngsters asking if they could have a similar junior mid-week club of their own.

The JTYAF was delighted to help to get things started by funding the hall hire for one year, ensuring that children could take part regardless of financial constraints at home.

Table tennis is a great sport and by offering free access to under 16-year-olds it is hoped that this will lead to a permanent junior table tennis club in the village.  Local residents are offering their time and expertise to coach the youngsters who will now have the opportunity to develop and progress at the sport.

We hope that growing numbers of junior players will enjoy the benefits of this highly accessible sport.
