Representing GB at World Martial Arts Games

The JTYAF was delighted to be able to present the 2023 awards to the students at Ferndown Upper School for the first time since the Covid pandemic.  There were 4 students who were successful in their applications for scholarships and one of these went to a talented 13-year-old who has been selected for Team GB to compete in the World Martial Arts Games in Florida.

An incredible achievement for this young lady who has been competing for over 6 years and will be representing her country in July this year at Daytona Beach, Florida.  A fantastic opportunity for her to demonstrate and improve her skills and knowledge in karate, and we wish her every success.
