Lions Family Charity Cycle Ride a Great Success

Wimborne and Ferndown Lions inaugural Family Charity Cycle Ride was a great success with over 50 riders taking part. The 15 mile route started at the Barley Mow Inn at Colehill and took cyclists along the beautiful East Dorset country lanes to finish where they started, back at the Inn.  Families, leisure cyclists and several experienced riders took part.  There was even a pink rabbit!

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was privileged to be chosen as one of the recipient charities for this great event and would like to thank the Wimborne and Ferndown Lions for their continued support which makes a huge difference to the opportunities that the JTYAF can provide for local young people.

The last rider home was Pink Rabbit (Lions Club of Bournemouth President, Barrie Haynes) pictured above with the first rider to complete the route.
