Support for Residential Trips

The JTYAF is delighted to provide funding for Year 7 Residential and Year 7 Day Trips for vulnerable pupils at St Michael’s Middle School.

Three disadvantaged 12 year olds will now be able to join their peers on a 5 Day outdoor education trip to Holne Park in Devon and five pupils who are unable to access the residential trip have received funding to go to the New Forest Water Park.

Following such difficult times for young people these extra curricular opportunities are vital to boost self esteem, build resilience, secure friendships and broaden their horizons to enable them to grow and develop as individuals.
