Tumbling to Bronze in Portugal

A JTYAF Scholarship was awarded to a talented Ferndown Upper School student to help with the cost of representing his country at an International Gymnastics Tournament, The Loule Cup, in Portugal, .
Our ward winner competed in tumbling, a gymnastics discipline where participants perform a series of twists and flips along a sprung track. He qualified to the finals in the 13-14 Male Tumbling category and had a great run, finishing 3rd and taking the Bronze Medal!
A fabulous personal achievement and in the England Team Event he finished 4th.
