Youngsters to take part in Duke of Edinburgh awards

Three local lads are due to complete their Duke of Edinburgh awards. The JTYAF is pleased to be able to help these young people to gain valuable experiences and valuable skills on their expeditions.

Tom is a coach for the Purbeck Runners and wants to help develop their junior section. He's also a certified Junior Coach for Swanage Cricket Club working with the Under 9s and Under 13s towards his Silver Duke of Edinburgh award.

Kyle has been raising money for the local Macmillan Unit and hopes to make new friends, gain new experiences and improve his career prospects with his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award.

Kieran is working towards his bronze Duke of Edinburgh award.  He says:

"I want to do my bronze Duke of Edinburgh as I think it will be an exciting and life changing experience."
